Massage balls & foam rollers are great products to use in between treatments, when you have acute muscular pain, all you have to do is lie or lean on the affected muscles and apply pressure of about 7/10 and gently roll on the area until to you can feel the pain ease to 2/10, you may have to repeat this process around the muscle to ensure all of the tension has released.
